Sensei Brian "Graveto" Morágne is the Owner and Head Instructor of the Freestyle Martial Arts Academy. He holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwon Do under Master Malcolm Perkins as well as a 1st Dan in Shudo Kan Okinawan Karate under World Martial Arts Hall Of Fame - Grand Master Milton Quiles. He also holds the title of Monitor in the Brazilian Martial Art form, Capoeira under the guidance of Mestre Boi.

Sensei has taught Taekwon Do for over a decade and has developed a long standing reputation for high standards in quality instruction. He has a positive impact in his local South Jersey Community, and is most proud of his achievements developing students. His students have awesome attitudes as well as superior levels of proficiency.

On November 15, 2008, Sensei Brian was inducted into the U.S.A. International Black Belt Hall of Fame for Male Black Belt Of The Year and was also inducted as Martial Artist Of The Year 2009.

Not to brag, but our Sensei was also chosen to represent as a competitior as well as coach for the 2011 NAFMA Team USA Karate team. On November 19, 2011 Team USA was victorious over Team Canada and Sensei Brian was named World Champion. Outstanding!

As a proficient fighter, he has an extensive champion full contact fighting career such as the annual Upper Darby Full Contact Kickboxing Tournament, Mercer County Nationals, The War At The Shore, The Annual Friendship Tournament, and is a Grand Champion of the Shuto Kan Open Style Invitational - Fighting Division.

Sensei Brian is a proud member of the Atlantic City Dance Theater founded by Ms. Parry Harris, also an active member with NAFMA and the International Taekwon Do Federation.

With over 20 years of experience in Taekwon Do, Darryl Pearce joined the team at Freestyle Martial Arts Academy in 2009. He began his martial arts training in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 11 in Orlando, Florida.  Since then, he has moved over 15 times.  Every relocation after the age of 12 forced Darryl to prove his knowledge and ability in Taekwon Do before he would be accepted as a student and his rank would be honored.

Each Taekwon Do Master would require him to learn their unique curriculum before advancing him any further in rank.  Although this led to many additional years of practice, Darryl gained a broad understanding of both traditional and sport-oriented Taekwon Do styles.  Darryl gained his 1st Dan rank with the World Taekwondo Federation in 1999 under Master Chip Lutz at the age of 21.

Darryl teaches both traditional and sport-oriented Taekwon Do philosophies with strong tones of practical application.  He stresses the importance of incorporating martial arts exercises and principles into daily life for a healthy body and a healthy attitude. The end result of Darryl’s teachings is a comprehensive understanding of Taekwon Do as an expression of one’s self and as an effective means of self-defense.
